Introduction

Tungsten carbide end milling cutter is composed of hard phase WC and binder Co, which has high hardness, strength and wear resistance and mainly used for top surface, flat, stairs and key slot cutting process.

Comparison

Disc cutter used for horizontal milling machine, is divided into the groove cutter, two-blade cutter, three-blade cutter and staggered face milling cutter. Slot cutters are generally used for machining of shallow grooves; two-blade cutter used for machining stepped surface; three-blade cutter for grooving and stepped surface; the end milling cutter or use on a vertical milling machine for flat, stairs and key slot. However, there is a difference in the key slot between two kinds of milling cutter. The two ends of disc-shaped slot is in the vertical plane by disc-shaped milling cutter, while the key slot by end milling cutter is semicircular.
