Tungsten carbide is commonly used in mechanical seals, such as pump seal, shaft seal, ring seal, face seals, and tungsten carbide seal, which are extremely tough and stiff and have very good abrasion resistance. Two common metal binders, cobalt and nickel, are used. Typically 6% binder materials are used in mechanical seals, although a wide range is available. Nickel-bonded tungsten carbides are more prevalent in the wastewater pump market due to their improved corrosion resistance compared with cobalt bound materials.

We design and fabricate wide array of tungsten carbide seals that are manufactured from qualitative raw material. These seals find wide application in various industries and are known for their strength and long service life. Our TC seals are available in different diameters as specified by our clients. They can withstand wide ranges of temperature and pressure.

Face seal components made from solid silicon carbide are particularly well suited to abrasive and corrosive applications and can handle a wide range of temperature extremes. These components are excellent thermal conductors and can be specified where high strength and stiffness are required. Reaction bonded silicon carbide is also satisfactory for face seal, while it has excellent wear characteristics.

TN85-Low Density (5.5-7.8g/cm3)
TN85 is a new grade of tungsten carbide, which is excellent for the various applications in wear-resistance, high-temperature, oxidation resistance and anti-corrosive. It also acts quite well in self-lubricating & low friction coefficient, thus, it is widely used in the sealing industry.
